Tips on AMA Citation style
AMA Citation Style Tips
AMA stands for American Medical Association. The citation style specifies the writing and citation styles for use in scholarly publications in medicine internationally, including JAMA (Journal for American Medical Association) and the Archive Journals. The first publication came out in 1962 and the latest 10th publication came out in 2007.
The citation style covers a breadth of topics for authors and editor in medicine and related health fields. Even medical students and majors have to use the citation styles to present a dissertation or research work.
Using the citation style is essential because of the fact that the source of the information has to be mentioned in a proper and uniform manner so that the readers of the research paper are convinced of the sources and the authenticity of the data can be verified easily. And also the research can be taken forward to the next level by the next generation research students.
